Security images released of suspects wanted in downtown robberies

Security images have been released of two suspects after two downtown stores were robbed last year.

Emergency crews were called to the scene on Nov. 25.

It was reported that a man and a woman entered a retail store, picked up two Valentino handbags, valued at over $10,000, concealed them and walked out of the store.

Almost a month later, it’s alleged the same man walked into a jewelry store in the King Street West and Bay Street area and pried open a display case. The suspect allegedly took six Mont Blanc pens, valued at $7,710.

When a staff member confronted the man, he fled the store.

The woman is described as between 5’7″ and 5’10”, 30 to 35 years of age, with a pale complexion. She was wearing knee-length boots, ripped blue jeans and a black jacket.

The man is described as between 5’11” and 6’0″, 35 to 40 years old. He was wearing a long black winter coat, a black baseball cap and prescription glasses.

Anyone with information is asked to contact police at 416-808-5200.
