Suspects in Kingston home invasion may be in Toronto: police

Two men wanted in connection with a home invasion in Kingston, Ont; in February, may be in the Toronto area, police say.

Police say around 8:45 p.m. on Feb. 15, two men broke into an apartment on John Counter Boulevard, near Sir. John A. MacDonald Boulevard and Highway 401.

Two male suspects allegedly robbed the apartment while the resident was present. One was armed with a handgun and pointed it at the resident while the other went through the apartment. Various items were stolen and the phone line was ripped out.

 

Police say the suspects fled the scene in a black car, similar to a Chrysler 300, and were seen heading west on John Counter. The vehicle was last spotted on the 401, just west of Highway 38.

Kingston police told CityNews they have reports that the suspect have been seen in the Toronto area.

The first suspect is described as dark-skinned, five-foot-11, and with a slim build. He wearing a black North Face jacket, black and grey Puma track pants and bright red shoes.

The second suspect is a black male and shorter than the first suspect. He was wearing black clothes and blue shoes.

Police are asking anyone with information to contact them.
