4 men arrested following home invasion in Vaughan

Four men face a number of charges related to a home invasion in Vaughan.

York regional police were called to an address on Lavender Place in the Highway 7 and Weston Road area around 8 p.m. on Tuesday. They discovered two victims who suffered minor physical injuries. Police believe that the homeowners were targeted.

Using helicopter surveillance, police managed to track four men running from the home. With the help of the canine unit as well as officers on the ground, the four were arrested without incident. A .40 calibre Glock handgun was recovered from one of the suspects at the time of the arrest.

Akil Abou-Bekoe, 31, of Montreal; Pasquale Leone, 30, of King Township; Terry O’del Sinclair, 33, of Markham; and Jermaine White, 35, of no fixed address, are facing a number of charges including robbery with a firearm, forcible confinement and carrying a concealed weapon.
