Newmarket among the most romantic cities in Canada, but not Love, Saskatchewan

Newmarket is one of the most romantic cities in Canada, according to online retailer Amazon.ca.
The company tracked the Canadians cities where the most romance novels were purchased, as well as where sales of “romantic comedies, relationship books, jewelry and sexual wellness products” were soaring.
It sounds like the cities most in need of romantic help, if you asked us, and the list left off more traditionally romantic destinations like Montreal, Niagara Falls, and Banff.
Among the top-10 on Amazon’s list were Victoria (No. 1 for the fifth year in a row), Abbotsford, Waterloo, and Saskatoon. Newmarket was No. 20.
But there are quite a few cities that, just by name alone, should have made the top 10.
What about Love, Saskatchewan? Or Climax, also in Saskatchewan? If you can’t quite make it to Saskatchewan, there’s always Clo-oose, just north of the United States border in British Columbia. (The name derives from the Nitinaht word for “camping place.”)
