LOS ANGELES, Calif. – The Latest on the trial of a man charged with stalking model and reality television star Kendall Jenner (all times local):

4:50 p.m.

Proceedings have ended for the day in the trial of a man charged with stalking Kendall Jenner, and a defence attorney is expected to begin his closing argument on Monday.

Deputy City Attorney Alex Perez told a Los Angeles jury on Thursday that Shavaughn McKenzie tracked Jenner’s movements over a 15-month period and somehow managed to find her secluded Hollywood Hills home only weeks after she moved in.

Perez is urging the jury to convict McKenzie of misdemeanour stalking and trespassing.

A lawyer for defendant Shavaughn McKenzie will counter on Monday.

He previously said his client is mentally ill and posed no threat to the star when he followed her into her driveway in August and refused to leave while banging on her car window.

The timing of the proceedings forced one juror to leave the case since he will be travelling next week.

A prosecutor says a man charged with stalking Kendall Jenner showed a single-minded focus in his efforts to meet the model and reality show star.

Prosecutors say the 25-year-old transient was arrested outside Jenner’s home in August after he followed her into her driveway and banged on her car window.

McKenzie’s attorney has yet to give his closing argument but has said his client was unarmed and posed no threat to Jenner, a star on “Keeping Up With the Kardashians.”

Closing arguments are expected to begin Thursday afternoon in the trial of a man charged with stalking model and reality TV star Kendall Jenner.

A Los Angeles prosecutor is asking jurors to convict Shavaughn McKenzie of misdemeanour stalking and trespassing charges filed after he was arrested outside Jenner’s home in August. Jenner testified last week that McKenzie followed her car into the driveway of her Hollywood Hills and refused to leave.

Jenner told jurors it was the scariest moment of her life and she was terrified of McKenzie.

The 25-year-old could face up to six months in jail if convicted of either charge.

His attorney contends McKenzie was unarmed and posed no threat to the “Keeping Up With the Kardashians” star.
