Reflexology therapist charged with sexual assaulting woman during treatment

A reflexology therapist is accused of sexually assaulting a 29-year-old woman during treatment.

The alleged assault happened at the man’s office on Lesmill Road, near Leslie Street and York Mills Road, in North York on Sept. 24.

Masoud Jamshidian, 52, from Markham, was arrested on Tuesday and charged with sexual assault. He was scheduled to appear in court on Wednesday.

Reflexology is a type of alternative treatment that involves applying pressure to areas of the hands, feet and ears believed to correspond to other parts of the body.

Update: The Ontario Ministry of the Attorney General has confirmed that Masoud Jamshidian was acquitted of the charges on November 30, 2017.
