Good Samaritan stabbed while trying to break up fight in east-end Toronto

Toronto police are searching for suspects after a Good Samaritan was attacked in the city’s east end.
It happened at Danforth Road and Granger Avenue near Midland Avenue around 1 a.m. on Friday.
Police said the man in his 20s was trying to break up a fight when he was stabbed with a beer bottle.
He was rushed to a trauma centre with a serious stab wound to his torso, but he is expected to survive.
