Man in custody after reports of gun spotted on GO bus

A man is in custody after someone was reportedly spotted with a gun on a GO bus this afternoon.
York Regional Police say they received reports of a distraught man on the bus headed to Newmarket from Yorkdale station around 5 p.m. They said he appeared to be concealing a gun under his clothing.
The bus was spotted and pulled over near Canada’s Wonderland at Highway 400 and Rutherford Road. All of the passengers were safely taken off the bus and a man in his 30s was taken into custody without incident.
Police say no gun has been found yet but they are continuing to investigate.
