Missing woman from Brampton found safe: police

Peel regional police have located a woman from Brampton who was missing since Sunday.

Alice Mathu, 18, was last seen around 9 p.m. on Sunday by her friends in the area of Kennedy Road and Queen Street East in Brampton.

Police and family were concerned for her safety since she suffers from mental health problems and her disappearance was out of character for her.

Mathu has since been found in good health, police said on Wednesday.
