Man critically injured in five-vehicle Richmond Hill crash

York regional police are investigating a multi-vehicle crash in Richmond Hill that left one man in serious condition in hospital.
The crash, which involved five vehicles including a pickup truck, happened in the 16th Avenue and Leslie Street area, west of Highway 404, just after 6:30 a.m. on Wednesday.
The driver of the pick-up truck was rushed to hospital with life-threatening injuries.
Two other people were hurt in the crash but their injuries are not life-threatening, Const. Laura Nicolle told 680 NEWS.
There is no word yet on whether charges will be laid.
Police are looking to speak with anyone who may have witnessed the crash.
A portion of 16th Avenue is expected to remain closed for the next several hours as police investigate.
