Toronto police are investigating after a man was struck and killed by a Via train near the Rouge Hill GO station.
The 19-year-old had a bicycle and was crossing the Waterfront Trail over the track when he was struck just after 9:30 p.m. on Thursday, police say.
It’s not clear if he was riding the bicycle or was walking beside it.
He was pronounced dead at the scene. His name has not been released.
All eastbound GO trains were stopping at Guildwood and westbound trains were terminating at Pickering. Shuttle buses were operating in between those stations.
Regular service resumed Friday morning.
