Man dies after drowning in Burlington private pool

A man in his early 70s died after he was after found unresponsive in a private pool in Burlington.
Police and paramedics were called around 4:30 a.m. and found the man the pool, located on Country Club Dr near Appleby Line and Upper Middle Road.
He was transported to hospital where he was pronounced dead.
Police say incident doesn’t appear suspicious but the investigation into the circumstances continues.
