Man arrested in Hwy. 400 crash near Newmarket

One man is in custody after a two-car crash on Highway 400 north of Newmarket on Friday morning.

The collision happened in the southbound lanes at Canal Road around 3:30 a.m.

Three people were injured, including the man who was taken into custody.

None of the injuries are believed to be serious.

Police suspect the driver was impaired.
