Driver smashes into west-end restaurant

Toronto police are investigating after a driver crashed a car into a west-end restaurant early on Tuesday morning.
It happened around 1:30 a.m. on Kipling Avenue at Bethridge Road, north of Highway 409.
The restaurant is also a grocery store.
The same person owns the car and the restaurant, police say. However, the owner of the car may not have been driving it at the time.
There were four people in the car at the time. No one was injured, and the building had minor damages.
