Male tries to break into Queen St. store with axe

Toronto police arrested a male who allegedly tried to break into a store on Queen Street West using an axe.
Police were called to the scene after receiving reports of a male attempting to smash a window of a store on Queen, near Peter Street, just before midnight on Tuesday.
Reports from the scene indicated he was threatening people with the axe as well.
Police report that there was some damage to nearby storefronts.
No injuries were reported.
