Ontario Provincial Police say they’re looking for two suspects after a recycling truck driver was robbed at gunpoint while working his route.

Peterborough County OPP say the attack took place on Tuesday shortly before 11 a.m. on Lindsay Road, north of Peterborough.

They say the driver was approached by two men who pointed a handgun at him and demanded he hand over his wallet, cellphone and keys.

Police say they hit the driver in the head before fleeing the scene in a vehicle.

OPP say the first suspect is a white male with “scraggly” blond hair, a “scruffy” beard and “very dirty” black jeans.

The second man is described as a black male with a goatee-style beard and medium-length curly hair.
