A pair of homeowners are uninjured after a vehicle crashed into the living room of their home near Woodbine and Danforth avenues.

It happened around 5 a.m. on Sunday.

Homeowner Niki Stamac said she was sitting on the couch watching television when the SUV came crashing through the window, just a few feet away from her.

“I don’t remember any sound, just a lot of dust and debris and clouds. It’s a bit of a blur,” she explained. “I think if I was an arms length to my right I would have been smoked.”

She said her first instinct was to rush to the car to check if the driver had been injured.

The driver was taken to the hospital.

There’s been no word on the cause of the crash.

Police continue to investigate.
