Duffy faces another day of cross-examination

Mike Duffy will be back on the stand Tuesday to face another day of cross examination in his fraud trial.

On Monday, the disgraced senator testified that he resisted at every opportunity a scenario laid out for him by the former prime minister’s office. The scenario, he says, was to tell the public he had made a mistake and was repaying his senate expenses.

Stephen Harper’s former chief of staff Nigel Wright secretly repaid Duffy’s contested senate expenses of $90,000 in March 2013.

Duffy has pleaded not guilty to 31 charges of fraud, breach of trust and bribery.
