Video: SkyGreece president AWOL as CityNews searches for answers

SkyGreece temporarily ceased all operations on Thursday, with passengers already stranded at Pearson Airport and overseas for days.

CityNews has been trying to find the Canadian president of the airline to get the answers so many customers have been waiting for.

Here’s the timeline of our chase:

Thursday:

CityNews spent hours at a restaurant owned by the SkyGreece president Ken Stathakis.

CityNews spent the day asking staff at The Octagon steakhouse in Thornhill about Stathakis’ whereabouts and if they could help us us in touch with him. We got no answers. Watch the video below.

Friday:

Neighbours say Stathakis’ wife’s name is Cathy.

We saw who we think is her outside the couple’s home in Toronto but she would not talk or answer the door. Watch the video below.

CityNews called the Octagon steakhouse and asked for Stathakis. We were told he was not in and isn’t expected in since it’s believed he is out of town.
