Drunk driver charged after OPP cruiser struck

A man has been charged with impaired driving after he struck an OPP cruiser in Richmond Hill.
It happened at Yonge Street and Bloomington Road around 5:30 p.m. on Monday.
The person charged wasn’t hurt but an officer was taken to hospital with minor injuries.
York regional police are investigating the crash.
