Oshawa man charged in father’s stabbing death

An Oshawa man has been charged with first-degree murder after his father was fatally stabbed on Monday afternoon.
Durham regional police were called to a home on Carnaby Court around 4:30 p.m.
Police say the victim and his son had been fighting and the father received serious stab wounds.
Walter Sollows, 76, had no pulse when police arrived. He was rushed to hospital, where he later died.
Clyde Sollows, 53, was arrested at the home. He is being held for a bail hearing.
