Cyclist hit by flying glass in Bloor-Yonge crash

A dramatic crash that knocked over a lamp post and destroyed a bus shelter left four people with just minor injuries.
A woman on a bicycle was hit by flying glass after the two-vehicle crash at Yonge and Bloor streets. It happened around 11:15 p.m. on Tuesday.
Police say a black SUV collided with a white car, sending the car careening into a TTC bus shelter. One of the drivers ran a red light, police say, but they’re not yet sure which driver.
The three other people hurt were the drivers and one passenger. Miraculously, none of the injuries were serious.
The intersection was closed for several hours for the cleanup but has since reopened.
Police are investigating.
