5 injured in Lake Simcoe boat crash

Five people have been hurt after two boats crashed in Lake Simcoe.

The collision happened in Cook’s Bay near the Holland River around 4:30 p.m. Sunday.

One female was rushed to hospital with life-threatening injuries. Police said her condition has since improved.

Four others suffered non-life threatening injuries.

York Regional Police are conducting a collision reconstruction to determine how the crash happened.
