Male injured in Richmond Hill crash

A male is in hospital after a two-vehicle crash in Richmond Hill.
Emergency crews were called to Bayview and 19th avenues just after 11 p.m. on Tuesday.
York regional police said a Honda was travelling southbound on Bayview when it collided with a BMW heading northbound.
One of the vehicles involved in the crash ended up in a ditch.
The driver of the Honda was rushed to hospital with life-threatening injuries. Police said his condition has since improved.
There has been no word on charges.
The intersection was closed for several hours while police investigated.
They are appealing for anyone who witnessed the crash to come forward.
