Police searching for son of woman murdered near Woodbine & Danforth

Toronto police say they are looking for the son of a woman who was found dead on Tuesday afternoon in an apartment near Danforth and Woodbine avenues.

The body of Linda Scott, 65, was discovered with visible signs of trauma in an apartment unit she shared with her son, Justin Scott, 25.

Investigators say he is wanted for first-degree murder and is described as a white male with red hair, five-foot-10, 170 lbs., and has a scar on his neck.

Police say he may have recently shaved his head and could be heading to Quebec.

Anyone with information on Scott’s whereabouts is asked not to approach him, and to call police.
