Toronto man arrested after woman allegedly forced into sex trade

A 33-year-old Toronto man has been arrested after a woman was allegedly abused and forced into the sex trade for three years.
It is alleged that during the three-year period, a 19-year-old woman was violently assaulted and forced into prostitution while the suspect would keep her earnings.
Andre Stubbs was arrested on Monday and was scheduled to appear in court later that day.
He is charged with several offences, including human trafficking, procuring a person to become a prostitute, aggravated assault and forcible confinement.
Police believe there may be more victims.
Stubbs also faces numerous firearm charges after a search warrant led police to find a loaded firearm concealed in a vehicle.
