Canadian fighter jets have bombed an Islamic State warehouse in Iraq as part of major coalition air operation.
The attack was announced in a news release from Defence Minister Rob Nicholson’s office.
The statement does not say where the attack took place, although most of the extremist staging facilities are located in the north of the country along the Syrian border.
Nicholson’s office says the warehouse was used for training and the manufacture of roadside bombs and booby traps.
The raid was carried out Monday by four CF-18s, which have been conducting missions under the umbrella of a U.S.-led, multi-national coalition.
