Special weather statement issued for cottage country

Environment Canada has issued a special weather statement calling for snow late this evening in cottage country.

Two to five centimetres of snow are possible south of Georgian Bay on Friday night. Precipitation that started as rain in regions south of Georgian Bay will turn into snow on Friday night. Rain or wet snow will turn into accumulating bands of snow in regions east of Georgian Bay.
