Woman dies after struck by vehicle in Parkdale on Monday night

A pedestrian who suffered life-threatening injuries after being struck by a car in Parkdale earlier this week has died in hospital, according to Toronto police.
The woman, 39, was crossing King Street West just east of Jameson Avenue in a crosswalk, when she was hit by a Ford Escape at around 9 p.m. on Monday.
Police said the 28-year old woman who was behind the wheel was driving east on King in the passing lane at the time.
So far, no charges have been laid.
