Suspect sought after alleged sex assaulted at Mississauga park

Peel police are searching for a suspect after a woman, 26, said she was sexually assaulted at a park in Mississauga.

Police said the woman was walking in Eden Woods Park, located at Edenwood Drive and Battleford Road, on the evening of Aug. 13 when she was allegedly grabbed from behind by the man, then hit several times before being sexually assaulted.

She was able to escape and call police.

The woman was treated for her injuries in hospital.

The suspect is described as white, in his 30s, around five-feet seven-inches to five-feet nine-inches tall, with a muscular build, a thin nose, and triangular jaw. He was wearing a dark long-sleeved running shirt, black running pants, running shoes, black fitted toque, sunglasses, black and white gloves.
