Girl falls into ravine at Appleby & Dundas, suffers minor injuries

A 12-year-old girl has minor injuries after a falling 10 metres into a ravine near Appleby Line and Dundas Street.
It happened around 5 p.m. Sunday.
Burlington Fire was called into rescue the girl, along with her mom, who had climbed down to see if she was okay.
Three firefighters rappelled down the ravine to carry both back up.
The girl was taken to hospital with minor injuries, and the mom was not hurt.
