TORONTO – Some of the most active companies traded Monday on the Toronto Stock Exchange and the TSX Venture Exchange:

Toronto Stock Exchange (15,171.23, up 45.73 points):

Fortis Inc. (TSX:FTS.IR). Utilities. Down 44 cents, or 1.12 per cent, to $39.01 on 7 million shares.

Bombardier Inc. (TSX:BBD.B). Aerospace, rail. Up six cents, or 1.59 per cent, to $3.83 on 5.8 million shares. The company announced a number of agreements at the Farnborough International Airshow for its new CSeries aircraft, among them a letter of intent for 20 CS100s from Chinese company Zhejiang Loong Airlines Co. that would be worth US$1.28 billion if all the orders were exercised. On the weekend, Bombardier had announced that U.K.-based Falko Regional Aircraft Ltd. had signed a letter of intent for up to 24 CS100 jets.

Athabasca Oil Corp. (TSX:ATH). Oil and gas. Up 23 cents or 3.35 per cent, to $7.10 on 4.4 million shares.

Stornoway Diamond Corp. (TSX:SWY). Miner. Down one cent, or 1.39 per cent, to 71 cents on four million shares.

BlackBerry Ltd. (TSX:BB). Communication equipment. Down 34 cents, or 2.75 per cent, to $12.03 on 3.6 million shares.

B2Gold Corp. (TSX:BTO). Miner. Down seven cents, or 2.27 per cent, to $3.02 on 3.6 million shares.

Toronto Venture Exchange (1,020.22, down 2.71 points):

Gold Bullion Development Corp. (TSXV:GBB). Miner. Unchanged at 6.5 cents on 3.5 million shares.

POET Technologies Inc. (TSXV:PTK). Semiconductors. Down 22 cents, or 12.36 per cent, to $1.56 on 2.9 million shares.

Companies reporting major news:

Canadian Pacific Railway (TSX:CP). Transportation. Down 31 cents, or 0.16 per cent, to $196.07 on 357,975 shares. Walter Spracklin at RBC Capital Markets reduced his earnings per share forecast for CP Rail, which reports on Thursday, to $2.13 from $2.16, reflecting higher costs and lower per tonne grain revenue.
