Moncton resident says shooting suspect was near her home

MONCTON, N.B.- The Moncton shooting rampage has left the entire city on edge, but especially those living near where the search for the gunman is taking place.

We caught up with a woman who lives in the neighbourhood where the terror first began.

Terri McPhee lives just off Hildegard Drive and says she first realized something was wrong around 8:30 Wednesday evening when her I-Pad began receiving multiple Facebook messages from friends telling her about what was going on.

McPhee says the now infamous photo of a man, believed to be Bourque, wearing camouflage and carrying two rifles was taken near her home. “Where the picture of the shooter is just kind of around the curb, just past the fire station…that’s where I walk my dog”, says McPhee.

Residents of north Moncton continue to be under police order to stay inside and lock their doors until an arrest has been made.
