Hwy. 401 and 427 ramps to EB Eglinton Ave. reopen following serious crash

One person is in hospital with life-threatening injuries after a seven-vehicle crash in Etobicoke on Thursday.
It happened around 9:30 a.m. on the ramp from highways 401 and 427 to Eglinton Avenue West.
Paramedics took one person to a trauma centre in critical condition; two others were taken to a local hospital with minor injuries; and fire crews were attempting to free a fourth person who had become trapped.
The ramps from the 401 and 427 to eastbound Eglinton have reopened following the crash. They were closed for about three hours.
