Peel police looking for suspect(s) involved in an excavator theft and collision

MISSISSAUGA- Peel police is appealing for witnesses to a single motor vehicle collision that occurred in Mississauga, early Friday morning.
According to a news release, an unknown suspect(s) stole an excavator from a construction site located at Argentia Rd. and Tenth Line in Mississauga just after midnight.
The suspect(s) made contact with a live hydro line while operating the excavator. This resulted in the hydro line shorting out, causing a disruption to hydro service to a large area of the Meadowvale area.
Anyone with information on the theft and collision is asked to call police.
