Transport Canada investigating alleged human waste dump on home in Mississauga

Transport Canada is investigating after a home in Mississauga experienced something rather unpleasant on Wednesday.

The homeowners believe an overhead plane dumped frozen human waste onto a Mississauga home, located about 20 kilometres away from Pearson Airport.

“I stuck my finger in it and I smelled it, and it smelled like poop,” the homeowner told CityNews, after the substance covered her backyard pool, the garden, the roof, and even hit the family dog.

The dumping just missed the homeowner, her husband and children.

Transport Canada came to the home Thursday and took a sample, but the homeowners have yet to hear about the results.

The agency says if it is determined that the ice came from an overhead aircraft, Transport Canada will try to identify the carrier to ensure the problem is rectified.

They added that “enforcement action” will be taken if the problem isn’t fixed.
