Facebook and its legal? or is it a massive hack?

for the last 2 days now alot of people are either A) being hacked, and the hackers are posting spam about lose of weight or B) facebook is just being paid to advertise this. it is becomming a massive social problem because its being posted on every persons friends status and there getting yelled at by there friends. this is what is being posted.
