Winter almost over? Groundhog Day on Saturday

Canadians will find out if winter will end soon, well, at least if you believe in prognosticating groundhogs.
Wiarton Willie will be making his annual prediction on Groundhog Day, Saturday.
City’s “Breakfast Television” co-host Kevin Frankish will be in Wiarton, Ont., for the prediction, which happens at 8:07 a.m.
You will be able to hear it live on 680News and watch it live on CityNews Channel.
The legend states that if the groundhog sees his shadow, we’re in for six more weeks of winter. If he doesn’t see his shadow, then we’re in for an early spring.
