City of Toronto sets up more flu clinics

The City of Toronto is setting up more flu clinics this week, in response to a spike in cases.

According to Toronto Public Health, hundreds of new cases have been reported in the last week alone.

Officials said the reasons for the outbreak are partially due to the flu peaking earlier than usual, but a fewer number of people got the flu shot in fall 2012, prompting a new round of clinics to be held.
