680News and Citytv’s “Breakfast Television” teamed up once again for the Home Depot Christmas tree sale at Yonge-Dundas Square on Friday.
The sale raised more than $10,000 for the Daily Bread Food Bank.
People who made donations to the food bank got a Christmas tree donated by Home Depot.
Buyers chose from 1,030 Balsam Fir trees (6-8 feet tall) for a minimum donation of $10.
680News music reporter Rudy Blair and BT’s Kevin Frankish, Dina Pugliese, Frank Ferragine and Jennifer Valentyne hosted the event.
In 2011, $14,633 was raised for the Daily Bread Food Bank.
