Mother, 2 children struck by vehicle in Mississauga

MISSISSAUGA, Ont. – A three-year-old boy remains in hospital in critical but stable condition after he, his mother and his two-year-old brother were hit by a car while crossing the street in Mississauga, Ont., Tuesday evening.

Peel Regional Police said the mother and her sons were struck shortly before 6 p.m. at Bromsgrove Road and Tredmore Drive, near Winston Churchill Boulevard and Royal Windsor Drive.

The driver remained at the scene.

An air ambulance had initially been called to the scene but later called off. The child was transported by land ambulance.

The mother and her two-year-old son were treated for minor for minor injuries in hospital.
