TORONTO, Ont. – It’s going to be another long day for the city’s budget committee as public hearings continue, Tuesday.
Deputations will resume at 9:30 a.m.
The first session ran for around 11 hours on Monday.
The city is recommending council increase property taxes just under two per cent to maintain current service standards, which is contingent on a zero per cent increase to the police budget.
City council will finalize the 2013 capital and operating budgets in mid-January 2013.
