TORONTO, Ont. – GO Train service on the Lakeshore West, Lakeshore East and Kitchener lines were suspended Thursday during the evening rush hour after a major CN computer signal failure.
Service across southern Ontario was impacted by the signal outage.
The delay qualifies for GO’s guarantee, GO Transit told CityNews. Passengers who arrive at their destination more than 15 minutes late will receive a credit on their fare.
Presto card users have seven days to collect their credit online. Other single ticket holders have 24 hours to claim their credit at a ticket window.
