Grey Cup Fan March features fans from all across the country

TORONTO, Ont. – Every CFL jersey imaginable could be spotted at the Grey Cup Fan March Sunday, which was part of the pre-game celebrations for the 100th annual Grey Cup.

The gates were opened and fans were allowed to gather and party at Varsity Stadium, where the fan march began.

Joining the fans were alumni, while people carried flags, blew horns and shouted for the Argos.

The march route then moved across Bloor Street east to Yonge Street, before turning south and parading down Yonge to Queen Street.

It then travelled across Queen to York Street before heading down to the Rogers Centre.

While fans from across the country could be heard making fun of each others’ teams, it was in a light-hearted manner.

Instead of competing, most fans agreed that the merit of the march was in promoting the overall success of Canadian football.
