Mayor Rob Ford’s conflict of interest case is just a few days away from a decision.
According to the Toronto Star, the decision will be revealed Monday morning and Justice Charles Hackland will likely distribute his decision via fax or email.
Among the possible scenarios, Hackland could decide Ford has breached the Municipal Conflict of Interest Act and must be removed from office.
The Justice also has the option of banning Ford from running in the next election or he could accept Ford’s defense that he didn’t realize he was in conflict.
