TORONTO, Ont. – Construction to revitalize Queen’s Quay will shut down eastbound traffic on Queen’s Quay between Lower Spadina Avenue and Bay Street beginning Monday until the spring.
Westbound traffic on Queen’s Quay will not be affected by the construction.
Eastbound vehicles on Queen’s Quay will be diverted northbound to Lake Shore Boulevard at Lower Spadina Avenue. Regular eastbound traffic on Queen’s Quay will resume after Bay Street.
Pedestrian access to all businesses and residences in the area will be maintained.
The construction work, by Waterfront Toronto, is expected to be completed in early 2015.
