A new survey from Colgate University in New York State finds a link between binge drinking and reported happiness in college students.
Colgate University surveyed more than 1500 undergrads and found those who admitted to binge drinking claim to be happier than their non-binge drinking peers.
Researchers found many of those binge drinking students who admitted to chugging four or more drinks per session, were doing so to fit in with peers.
The study has been troubling to many health experts who understand some of the negative effects caused by binge drinking.
