TORONTO, Ont. – Christopher Husbands, the suspect in the Eaton Centre shooting, is facing new charges Wednesday.

Husbands, 23, is facing two charges of first-degree murder as well as five counts of attempted murder charges.

A second victim, Nixon Nirmalendran, 22, died of his injuries in the hospital Monday night.

The name of the victim can now be released as the court-ordered publication ban that was in place has been lifted.

The Toronto-man was among six people wounded in the June 2 shooting in the food court.

The first victim to die was Ahmed Hassan, 24, of Toronto. He was pronounced dead at the scene.

The youngest person injured in the shooting was a 13-year-old boy, who was struck by a stray bullet. He was released from hospital Monday.

Police said they believe the shooting was the result of a personal dispute and was not gang-motivated.
