Hospitalization reasons linked to income: Study

A new study by St. Michael’s Hospital finds that people are being hospitalized for different reasons, depending on their income.
Research showed wealthier patients were more likely to undergo same day surgeries, while low income patients were more likely to be hospitalized for mental health concerns.
