Women from visible minorities have hit a glass ceiling when it comes to achieving leadership roles in the GTA.
A new study out of Ryerson University found women of colour make up only 2.6 per cent of top jobs in both the public and private sectors.
The report also shows corporate boards have the lowest percentage of minority women in leadership positions.
However, women of colour fare better in politics, making up 6.6 per cent of elected officials.
